By submitting a poster abstract, you acknowledge and agree to the following:<\/b><\/p>\n
If your poster abstract is accepted:<\/span><\/p>\n\n- All presenters must submit the required <\/span>digital poster and video<\/b> materials<\/span><\/li>\n
- At least one author<\/b> must register for and attend BCCE 2026 in order to present in person<\/span><\/li>\n
- If no authors are able to attend in person, presenters must notify the organizers promptly to withdraw the in-person presentation option<\/span><\/li>\n
- BCCE <\/span>cannot provide registration, lodging, or travel support<\/b>, nor offer presenter discounts<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Presentation Authorship Limits<\/b><\/h4>\n
BCCE follows the <\/span>Rule of Two<\/b>, which limits the number of presentations by any individual to one of the following combinations:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n- 2 oral presentations (full talk or distillation)<\/span><\/li>\n

Poster presentations are an integral part of the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE) 2026 program. Posters support informal, extended, and interactive discussions of chemistry education work and provide valuable opportunities for feedback, connection, and sensemaking. Poster presentations are well suited for:<\/span><\/p>- new or developing projects<\/span><\/li>
- exploratory or practice-based work<\/span><\/li>
- curriculum, assessment, or instructional design<\/span><\/li>
- chemistry education research at any stage of completion<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
Posters may also be used to present <\/span>mature projects<\/b> where extended discussion is beneficial.<\/span><\/p>Poster presentation format<\/b><\/h3>
Poster presentations at BCCE 2026 are <\/span>hybrid<\/b>. All accepted poster presenters will participate in the <\/span>virtual poster session<\/b>. Presenters may also choose to present their poster <\/span>in person<\/b> during scheduled poster sessions at the conference.<\/span><\/p>Virtual poster component (required)<\/b><\/h3>
All accepted poster presenters are expected to:<\/span><\/p>- Upload a <\/span>digital copy of their poster<\/b>, and<\/span><\/li>
- Upload a <\/span>five-minute recorded video<\/b> introducing and explaining the poster<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

Authors submitting a <\/span>poster presentation abstract<\/b> should:<\/span><\/p>- Identify the <\/span>Conference Context<\/b> and relevant <\/span>Intersectional Attributes<\/b> that best align with the focus and goals of their proposed contribution<\/span><\/li>
- Limit their abstract to <\/span>300 words<\/b>.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

Authors whose poster abstracts are accepted may choose to present their poster in person at BCCE 2026.<\/span><\/p>Poster specifications<\/b><\/p>- Maximum size: 4 feet tall \u00d7 4 feet wide<\/span><\/li>
- Posters may be printed on paper or cloth<\/span><\/li>
- Presenters are responsible for printing and transporting their posters<\/span><\/li>
- On-site printing facilities will not be available<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
Poster sessions<\/b><\/p>- Poster sessions will be 90 minutes in length<\/span><\/li>
- Sessions are scheduled early afternoon on Monday and Tuesday<\/span><\/li>
