Traveling to Madison<\/h1>\n

By Plane<\/span><\/h3>\n

Madison<\/u>:\u00a0<\/u>The Dane County Regional Airport is located 4 miles northeast of downtown Madison. You can continue to the meeting site via taxi, which will cost approximately $20 – $30. Please visit www.msnairport.com<\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n

Milwaukee<\/u>:\u00a0<\/u>The General Mitchell International Airport (www.mitchellairport.com<\/a>) is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, approximately 75 miles east of Madison. You may continue to Madison via car or bus. Please see below for more information on car and bus travel.<\/p>\n

Chicago<\/u>:<\/u>\u00a0Chicago, Illinois is located 150 miles southeast of Madison and has two international airports: Midway International Airport and O\u2019Hare International Airport. Both airports can be found by visiting\u00a0www.ohare.com<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 passengers can continue to Madison via car or bus; please see below for additional information on both options.<\/p>\n

By Bus<\/span><\/h3>\n

Milwaukee: The Badger Coach Bus Line runs six trips daily from Milwaukee\u2019s General Mitchell International Airport to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus for $25 one way. The drop off location is located at the corner of Lake and Johnson streets, and is a four-block walk to the conference meeting site. Travel time is approximately two hours. Chicago: The Van Galder Bus Company runs several times daily from both O\u2019Hare and Midway Airports; directly to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The drop off location is located at the corner of Lake and Johnson streets, and is a four block walk to the conference meeting site. The one-way fare is currently $38 and travel time is approximately 3.5 hours. Please call (800) 747-0994 for more information or www.vangalderbus.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Greyhound bus lines also run to Madison. Please call (800) 231-2222 for fare and schedule information, or visit\u00a0www.greyhound.com<\/a>. Taxis are available at the bus terminal, which is approximately 0.5 miles from the Union.<\/p>\n

By Car<\/span><\/h3>\n

Madison lies approximately 150 miles northwest of Chicago (3 hour drive), 75 miles west of Milwaukee (1.5 hour drive) and 270 miles southeast of Minneapolis (4 hour drive).<\/p>\n

Parking<\/u>: Parking on and near campus can be challenging. If you are driving to Madison, please check with your hotel prior to calling campus parking. Many of the hotels offer parking for an additional fee.<\/p>\n

Residence halls do not have adjacent parking lots, please contact University Transportation Services at 608-263-6666 or\u00a0visitorparking@fpm.wisc.edu<\/a>\u00a0to reserve campus parking prior to arrival.\u00a0Parking lots closest to Memorial Union are lot 6, 7, 46, & 83. These lots also offer public hourly parking on a first come first serve basis.<\/p>\n

City of Madison has parking lots in the vicinity \u2013 State Street Campus Garage at 430. N. Francis Street, Madison, WI 53703<\/p>\n
