These awards are primarily for graduate students, though undergraduate researchers are also encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply for a student scholarship is <strong>June 30, 2026. <\/strong>More details can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/conferences.union.wisc.edu\/iccfss\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2026\/05\/ICCFSS-Scholars-Program2026_Final.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To qualify, the student must:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Be the <strong>first author<\/strong> of the conference paper.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver the <strong>oral presentation<\/strong> of the paper in-person at the conference.<\/li>\n<li>Be enrolled in an academic institution at the time of the conference.<\/li>\n<li>Indicate your eligibility in the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwmadison.eventsair.com\/2026-iccfss\/paper\">authors portal<\/a> when submitting your paper<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Available Awards:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Student Scholar Award ($1,000):<\/strong> Recognizes exceptional scholarship; requires a CV <strong>and<\/strong> advisor recommendation letter.\n<ul>\n<li>If you are recommending a student for an award, you can upload your letter of recommendation <a href=\"https:\/\/uwmadison.app.box.com\/f\/e2b86c16e68341cbb43fc1600a0f9f1e\">here<\/a>. Limited to 1 page.<\/li>\n<li>If you are a student, you can upload your CV <a href=\"https:\/\/uwmadison.app.box.com\/f\/e2b86c16e68341cbb43fc1600a0f9f1e\">here<\/a>.
