Prioritization Criteria for Trainees
There are limited funds available to support up to 15 trainees, and awards will cover the conference registration fee only. Please note that parking passes are not included; attendees who choose to purchase a parking pass for the week of the conference will be responsible for that cost.
This NSF Grant aims to support participation in the Beneficial Microbes and International Symbiosis Society research communities. Priority will be given to applicants for whom this will be their first time attending a Beneficial Microbes or International Symbiosis Society conference, as well as those submitting an abstract. We also strongly encourage applications from students enrolled at smaller institutions (5,000 students or fewer) and from postgraduate trainees seeking to expand their professional development and engagement within the field.
