Participants from outside the United States may need to apply for a visa at the American Embassy, consulate, or other visa-issuing office in their country of origin. Please begin your visa application process as soon as you register. Consulates in some countries take several months to process applications. For information on obtaining your visa, go to https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas.html. As soon as you contemplate travel to the United States, and after identifying that a visa is needed, contact the US embassy or consulate for information about current visa processing time estimates and processes.
Letters of Invitation will be provided upon request to registrants only in the following circumstances:
- Registration is paid in full
- A written request including your registration confirmation number has been sent to Microbes Conference Management at email@example.com
- Registrants must use a email address affiliated with an institute of higher education or a recognized organization related to international higher education
Letters of attendance and participation will only be sent out if you personally request one during the conference. If the emailed letter does not fulfill requirements needed by your organization for proof of attendance, please contact Conference Management at firstname.lastname@example.org with the specific information needed.
