NGPT 2024 Award Announcement

We are delighted to announce multiple NGPT2024 Awards, through generously supported by our sponsors. These awards aim to recognize and honor the contributions of young scientists and engineers to the fields of nanogenerators and piezotronics through their research and case studies.

 

NGPT Best Presentation Award (Supported by Nano Trends and Nano Energy)

  • Prize: Each awardee will receive a cash prize of USD $200 along with an award certificate.
  • Eligibility: Presenters of oral presentations (excluding Invited Speakers) and current PhD students or Postdoctoral researchers.

  • Selection Process: An award committee will evaluate participating presentations and select the awardees based on criteria of innovation, impact, and presentation quality.

 

 

NGPT Best Poster Award (Supported by Nano Trends and Nano Energy)

  • Prize: Each awardee will receive a cash prize of USD $200 along with an award certificate.
  • Eligibility: Presenters of oral presentations (excluding Invited Speakers) and current PhD students or Postdoctoral researchers.
  • Selection Process: An award committee will evaluate participating presentations and select the awardees based on criteria of innovation, impact, and presentation quality.

 

Both Best Presentation and Poster Awards will be announced during the conference banquet on May 22. Winners of both awards are expected to submit a paper to the special issue of NGPT 2024 in the journal of Nano Trends.

 

NGPT-MDPI Young Investigator Award (Supported by Micromachines and Sensors)

  • Prize: An awardee will receive USD $500 along with an award certificate.
  • Eligibility: Under 40 age professors (including invited speakers).
  • Selection Process: Committees will evaluate the scholar’s innovation, impact, presentation quality and contribution to NGPT.

 

 

NGPT/Grainger Institute for Engineering Graduate Student Award (UW-Madison student only, apply by May 13, 2024)

  • Prize: Up to 10 awardees will be selected. Each recipient will be granted a waived registration fee for full conference access, offering unparalleled opportunities for academic enrichment and professional networking. All awardees are required to present a poster presentation in a dedicated UW-Madison poster section on May 21 at 6 pm.
  • Eligibility: This award is open to all current graduate students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
  • Participation: Interested candidates must register for the competition using the provided link ( https://forms.gle/iYnmMb5GCUUrYFx68) and submit a CV along with a title for their poster presentation. Application deadline is May 13, 2024.
  • Selection Process: An award committee will evaluate and select the awardees based on criteria of on the criteria of innovation, quality, and potential impact of their research.
